NATE certified

Our Technicians are NATE Certified!

NATE certification tests represent real world working knowledge of HVAC systems. Developed by a committee of industry experts nationwide, NATE exams represent HVAC topics pertinent to contractors, educators, manufacturers , and utilities alike. All of the NATE tests are rigorous, multiple-choice, knowledge-based tests and validate a technician's knowledge.

What does that mean?

That means that our technicians have been trained and certified by North American Technician Excellence (NATE). NATE is an independent organization that certifies installation or service technicians with a knowledge-based test. A recent survey says that 87% of air conditioning and heating consumers prefer certified technicians.

To become NATE-Certified, technicians must pass bot the CORE exam and a SPECIALTY exam in service. The CORE test covers the technicians general knowledge, construction knowledge, and HVAC specific knowledge. The SPECIALTY exam covers a technicians knowledge of service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.

When hiring True Home Heating & Air Conditioning, rest assured knowing that our technicians are fully trained, highly knowledgeable, and ready to provide you with superior service.
